Howard starts a book

Howard  is writing his book using his Eyegaze computer, which is done by holding a gaze on letters on an onscreen keyboard for a set amount of time in the same way we would use our fingers on an ordinary keyboard.  He will also use this technology to spell things out when doing his radio interview. The Eyegaze has a facility to speak out what Howard types using his eyes. It is a slower process but is an amazing assistive piece of technology used by an amazing young man.

You can catch up on a clip from the radio show on the BBC iPlayer.
